The Skye and Lochalsh Young Carers feel privileged and in awe of Robert Holding who is prepared to run 140 miles across the Gobi Desert and raise funds for us. This is a race of extremes where competitors must negotiate dunes, an ice gorge, mountain range and desert plain, it is an adventure which will push them to their mental, physical and emotional limits. All sponsorship money received will go directly to the S&L Young Carers as Robert has already secured his challenge participation costs. Please send any cheque donations to our address and make it payable to 'Skye & Lochalsh Young Carers Project' or make use of collection tins sited at local banks and Howden’s Joinery, Portree News Update! |
