Many thanks to Plockton High School staff and pupils for their very much appreciated donation of £100.00. This money will be used to help support young carers who need materials or equipment for school or after school activities.

Thank you so much for the personal donations which amounted to an incredible £5,120.00 this month.  The money will be used to help stabilise and strengthen the Young Carer service.

Our sincere thanks to everyone involved in raising a very much appreciated £225.00.  The money will be used to help with the cost of our summer activity programme which is so important to young carers as it ensures they get regular breaks from caring responsibilities over the summer weeks. 

Broadford Tai Chi Group
Thank you so much for your continued support and very much appreciated donation of £48.88.  This money will be used where it is most needed to meet young carers needs.

St Columba's Episcopal Church
Our sincere thanks to the Church congregation for their valued and ongoing support and generous donation of £250.00.  This money will be used to help stabilise and strengthen the Young Carer service provision.

Sula Mor, Plockton
The curry cruise on board the Sula Mor raised a fantastic £570.00 for the Young Carer service.  Our sincere thanks go to Calum, Jane, crew and volunteer barman for all their hard work, the entertainers for their wonderful music and all the supporters on board who helped make the evening such an enjoyable one.  Special thanks must also go to 'Gin & Tonic' the dolphins who entertained us so brilliantly!

Network Tuesdays Group
Thank you so much to everyone involved in the Network Tuesdays Group for thinking of us and donating £125.00.  This money will be used to help us continue to meet young carers identified needs.

Lochalsh & Skye Housing Association
Our most sincere thanks goes to the Committee who have awarded £250.00 sponsorship each for our 2 young carers taking part in the Great Wilderness Challenge on the August the 20th.  Thank you for your ongoing and valuable support of the Skye and Lochalsh Young Carer service.

GWC
Thank you so much for the superb donation of an IMac computer to be used as a resource for our young carer membership.  This computer will enable us to significantly improve the standard of our educational and media access provision; previously we have had to rely on staff computers being made available for young carer use.

A sincere thank you to our friends at the Open Door Cafe who donated £150.00 this month.  This money will be used to support the Summer activity programme we are running to ensure young carers can access regular respite activities during the summer school break weeks.

Thank you to all our friends and supporters for the generous donation of £175.  The funds will be used to support the August summer activity programme which will ensure young carers continue to get a regular break over the school holiday time.

Rhoda Grant MSP
Sincere thanks to Rhoda for donating a total of £125 in relation to research projects she took part in.  This money will be used to help us strenghen our financial position.

Our thanks go to Willie Gordon and the Games Committee for the very welcome donation of £50.00, this money will be used to help support the needs of some of our more vulnerable young carers.

Our sincere thanks goes to all our supporters at the Open Door Cafe for the generous donation of £225.00 this month.  This money will go towards the cost of the young carers' much needed and appreciated October respite break.

A big thank you to Jean and all the volunteers who organised the stall and to all those who supported it, the very much appreciated sum of £188.30 was raised and will go towards the young carers' October respite break costs.

The Royal Caledonian Ball Trust
Our sincere thanks goes to everyone involved in raising a fantastic £1,000 for us again this year, the money will go towards the young carers' Christmas respite outings.  These respite breaks provide time out from responsibilities as well as opportunities to develop social, personal safety, team working and relationship skills.  Thank you all your continued support is so very much appreciated.

Portree High School
Thank you to the staff and pupils of Portree High School for the generous donation of £361.47 raised during their 'dressing down' day.  These funds will be used to purchase activity materials for young carers' support group sessions.

Uig Gala
A really big thank you to the Uig Gala for donating a generous £150.00.  This money will be used to meet the needs of some of our more vulnerable young carers over the Christmas and New Year period; a time of year when so many others are fortunate enough to be able to take it for granted.

Open Door Cafe
Sincere thanks to our friends at the Open Door Cafe for the donation of £125.00 this month.  This money will help us meet the needs of some of our more vulnerable young carers over the Christmas and New Year period.

Personal Donation
A huge thank you to Lisa and Ewan for their special gift aided donation of £250.00.  Rather than buying wedding favours for their forthcoming wedding they have decided to make a donation to the Young Carer service.  Some of this money will support young carers who lack basic household and/or school equipment and the remainder will contribute towards Christmas party celebrations in line with their wedding celebration.

Great Wilderness Challenge
A huge thank you to the GWC for their wonderful support and incredible cheque donation of £27,500.  Over £17,000 was raised by our team of 10 who worked tirelessly to build up sponsorship and local businessess, groups, families and individuals supported us to a level far beyond our expectations.  With the additional 60% top up support from the GWC we are now back on solid ground - thank you so much to everyone involved in supporting us.

Thank you to Willie Gordon and the AA membership who made the much appreciated donation of £100.00 which was raised through the hiring of tartan for their gathering.  This money will be used to support more vulnerable young carers at this difficult and stressful time of year.

Thanks so much to everyone concerned for raising £75.00 for the Young Carer service this month.  The money will be used to help buy activities materials to use during our 8 week 'Season's for Growth' bereavement and loss programme which we will be starting this month with a group of young carers.

Sincere thanks for the further much appreciated £200.00 received which will be used to help support our Easter respite programme which means so much to our 53 young carer members.

A big thank you to Grand Lodge members who donated a very much appreciated £100.00 which will be used to help support our planned young carer respite outings at Easter.

Fig Christian Fellowship
Our sincere thanks to the Fellowship for supporting us again this year by donating a wonderful £350.00 towards the Young Carer service.  This money will be used to help support the young carers Easter day-trip respite outings.

Church of Scotland Parish of Strath and Sleat 
Sincere thanks to the Trustees and Congregation for their continued support and generous donation of £500.00 to the Young Carer service.  These funds will be used to support our weekly group session work which gives young carers time out from responsibilites as well as opportunites to develop their social, team working, personal safety and relationship skills.

Portree Co-op Bag Pack
Our Portree Co-op bag pack on the 17th of March raised the fantastic sum of £742.00.  Our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed towards our cause and for the good natured support of our volunteers on the day.  Special thanks also to the Co-op staff who welcomed us so warmly.

Thank you for your very much appreciated donation of £125.00 which will be used to provide skill development materials for young carers accessing one to one support as part of their school timetable.
