Royal Caledonian Charities Trust
A massive thank you to our incredibly loyal supporters at the Royal Caledonian Charities Trust for their £5,000.00 donation for Young Carers.  This money will allow us to deliver our planned annual Edinburgh residential respite break which means so much to those taking part and is definitely the highlight of the young carer's year.

Open Door Café, Kyle
Our sincere thanks goes to our many friends and supporters at the Open Door Café for the 2 latest donations totalling £275.00.  Some of this money will be used to purchase clothing items for some young carers and in addition it will help us deliver our respite programme in the lead up to Christmas.

Dannasaireann An Eilein Sgitheanaich (DAES)
A very big thank you to everyone at DAES for the very generous donation of £100.00 raised at the annual 'bested dressed' competition.  This money will be used to provide healthy snacks and fruit drinks for our 5 weekly group sessions.

Cook Start Skye
Thank you so much to Cook Start Skye for the very generous donation of £225.06 which was the balance of monies left over from the winding up of the charity.  This money will be used to purchase ingredients to allow young carers to become more actively involved in cooking and baking whilst attending their newly extended weekly group session.

Rhoda Grant MSP
A massive thanks to our friend and support Rhoda Grant for her latest donations which totalled £250.00.  This money was received through research work undertaken with Ipsos MORI Scotland and PA Advocacy Ltd.  The funding will be used to purchase suitable clothing items and new resources for our planned Young Carer workshops, this will increase knowledge and understanding of topics important to the well-being of young carers and their families.

Lochalsh Knitters Workshop
Thank you so much for the generous donation of £145.00 raised from the sale of baby clothes.  We really appreciate the time and care taken to make the garments and then sell them for the benefit of young carers in Skye and Lochalsh.  This money will help towards the cost of the healthy drinks and snacks we provide to some 50 young carers each week during their group session time.

Struan Community Trust
A huge thank you to the Struan Community Trust for the generous and very much appreciated grant of £3310.00 as a contribution to our premises rental costs. This will relieve a significant pressure for us and will help to ensure the service continues to provide a safe and secure base in order to deliver the 5 weekly sessions for the young carers in our area.

Portree Parish Church of Scotland
Our most grateful thanks goes to the Portree Parish Church of Scotland congregation for the very generous £1,000 donation collected at the Harvest Thanksgiving Service.  This money will be used to support the purchase of activity materials, hot snacks, healthy nibbles and fresh fruit and vegetables at each of our 5 weekly group sessions.

Sleat Whist Group
Thank you so much to our loyal supporters at the Sleat Whist Group for the latest very much appreciated donation of £133.00.  This money will be used to provide some group session treats which are always so well received by the young carers.
