Respites 2016

Members have had a busy year so far, in the easter holidays our high school members went bowling in Inverness and Horse Riding at Borlum farm.  Primary age members also went horse riding at Portree Riding Stables, and went to the cinema.  Summer holidays have been action packed our High school members have had residential self catering respites to Quiraing Lodge in Staffin thanks to Columba 1400 learning about life skills, and thanks to Whitewave who provided some fun on the water whilst we were there.  Thanks to the Skye Sailing Club who were teaching some of members the ropes out in Portree Harbour.  Members also had fun with one of our volunteers Vicky at Lochcarron doing some pottery making and woodturning. Thanks to Matt at ACE sports for having us for the day as members did paintballing, archery and axe throwing. They also had a trip to Landmark and had fun go Karting in Inverness.

Our primary members have also been busy, we had a waterfight at Victoria cottage followed by a fun afternoon at Aros in Portree where members watched the latest film life of pets.  A fun filled day at Landmark down the water slides! Members had a scavenger hunt in Portree followed by fun and games at Portree Riding Stables.  Some members enjoyed a boat trip on Calums Seal and Dolphin Boat Trips, sadly we didn't see any dolphins this time, whilst other members had a great day at Val's who kindly did some arts and crafts with them and they had fun on the beach.
